Mostly sunny today and feeling warmer with a high near 50. A weak front dropping through Thursday evening will bring an isolated shower or two.
Friday looks dry for most of the day, but by Friday evening some rain is expected.
The setup for the weekend is complicated. A front separating 30s and 40s from 60s to near 70 will be draped across the area. We believe that front will lift north of us on Saturday and bring warm breezy, mainly dry weather for most of us.
However a southwest wind off Lake Erie will likely keep colder temperatures in and around the City of Buffalo.
Saturday evening and most of the night the front will drift south and bring rain showers and colder temperatures with it. This weather is expected to last into Sunday morning. The exception being the Southern Tier where it looks like you will stay on the warm side of this front.
By Sunday afternoon through very early Monday the front should once again lift north of all of us, bringing the warm weather with it.
Tricky call, keep checking in.
