Stewart's Shops says its annual Holiday Match program raised more than $1.75 million for regional charities for children.
In a press release, the convenience store chain said more than $880,000 was donated by customers during the holiday season. That figure was matched by Stewart's, which will donate the money to nonprofit children's charities.
Stewart's says the Holiday Match program has raised more than $39 million in its history. Stewart's started the Holiday Match program in 1986.
The company says nonprofits who would like to receive Holiday Match funding should apply by Jan. 31 on the Stewart's website.
