Look for a gradually clearing sky in the overnight hours.  Winds will be ramping up from the mountains and across the Piedmont.  

Mountain counties will likely see snow Friday into late Friday night.  1-3" of snow possible near Boone, with up to 2-5" for Beech Mountain.  ​NO SNOW for the Charlotte region, just sunshine and gusty winds.
