There's always plenty to do in Ohio over the weekend, but Spectrum News 1 gathered some of the highlights around each major metropolitan area across the state.

Cleveland
Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Run
- When and where: 4 p.m. March 15 in downtown Cleveland
- Cost: Registration costs $40
- Info: The holiday-themed 5k race states it is "Guinness World Records Largest Kilt Race" and as such they encourage runners to wear costumes
Irish Night: An Evening of Celtic Rock with Mary’s Lane
- When and where: 7 p.m. March 15 at BAYarts Sullivan Family Auditorium, located at 28795 Lake Road in Bay Village
- Cost: Tickets are $20 or $25 at the door
- Info: Enjoy music from Mary's Lane, a cash bar and other Irish favorites at this evening event in light of the holiday
Columbus
- When and where: 3 p.m. March 15 at downtown Dublin bars and restaurants
- Cost: Free
- Info: Can't make it to Dublin, Ireland? Dublin, Ohio, should suffice this year. Check out various bars offering special cocktails and specials. There's even a chance to win a grand prize
Basic Bird Photography - Spring Migration Preparation
- When and where: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 15 at Grange Insurance Audubon Center, located at 505 West Whittier Street in Columbus
- Cost: $40
- Info: Learn to be a better bird photographer as spring draws nearer in this class for beginners
Cincinnati
Cincinnati Saint Patrick's Parade
- When and where: 11:50 a.m. March 15 near Paycor Stadium
- Info: Come out and celebrate the 57th annual St. Patrick's Parade in downtown Cincinnati, produced by the Cincinnati St. Patrick's Parade Committee. This year's Honorary Grand Marshal is Anthony Munoz
- When and where: March 15-16 in downtown Cincinnati
- Info: Enjoy green beer, food and live music at Fountain Square for the holiday weekend. If the parade wasn't enough, there's plenty more to celebrate St. Patrick's Day
Dayton
- When and where: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dayton's Northwest Recreation Center, located at 1600 Princeton Dr.
- Cost: Free
- Info: This expo offers the chance to purchase baked good, jewelry and other items from youth artists between 6 and 17 years old. Cash only
- When and where: 3 to 4 p.m. March 15 at The Grazing Ground, located at 6280 Brantford Road in Dayton
- Cost: $35
- Info: Learn to make your own St. Patrick’s Day gnome vase, and enjoy a "snuggle session" with some of the venue's goats
Toledo
- When and where: 10:30 a.m. March 16 at 5692 Main Street in Sylvania
- Cost: Free
- Info: Continue the holiday weekend celebration with a free 5k run or walk, complete with prizes and, of course, beer
- When and where: 8 p.m. March 15 at Hensville Park, located at N St Clair St. in Toledo
- Cost: $40
- Info: Enjoy an evening 3-mile glow run/walk on the holiday weekend, which even lets you have a beer during the race
