OHIO — The tallies are in, and a familiar face has reclaimed her title as 2025's Ohio Ms. Basketball: Dee Alexander.

Alexander is a senior at Cincinnati Purcell Marian who has been named Ohio Ms. Basketball for the past three years. She is the second girls basketball player to be awarded the title three times. Previously, the only player with that record was Canton McKinley's Kierstan Bell, who won in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

On the boys side, the only player who won the Ohio Mr. Basketball Award three times is Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary's LeBron James in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association has voted on the recipient of the award since 2017. Previously the award was given out by the Associated Press. 

Alexander received 104 from the statewide panel, followed by Whitehouse Anthony Wade senior Elise Bender with 58 points. Springboro senior Bryn Martin took third place with 57 points.
