After a messy start to our Wednesday across Wisconsin, calmer and drier weather has moved into the state, but a few lingering showers or thunderstorms cannot be ruled out through Wednesday evening. The overall risk of severe weather is low, but any storms that do move in could produce hail, heavy rain and gusty wind.

Far northwest Wisconsin will continue to deal with heavy snow, especially in parts of Bayfield and Douglas Counties. The snow will slowly come to an end late Wednesday night.

Overnight, the sky will clear a bit and temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s. It will stay breezy with wind gusts up to 30mph possible.

Thursday will feature a mix of sunshine and clouds along with seasonable temperatures. Highs will reach into the 40s and 50s with wind gusts up to 30mph throughout the day.
