A cold front will the arrive today with scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm. These will taper off to a spotty sprinkle or flurry tonight as colder weather returns.

Friday will bring a mostly sunny sky, but chilly. A cold front Saturday brings rain showers, possibly snow showers with highs in the 40s.

Sunday is looking dry, but again feeling chilly.

Sunday rain and or wet snow showers will become rain showers Monday morning.

A colder than average pattern will take hold next week and continue through the end of the month.

Gov. Kathy Hochul has proposed a bell-to-bell ban on cellphones in schools in her executive budget, along with a $13.5 million appropriation to implement the ban.
