The NWS Storm Prediction Center has South Carolina under a level 2/5 threat for severe storms.

A line of storms will move through the state today. As the storms move east, they'll have potential to produce heavy rain, damaging winds gusts and possibly an isolated tornado.

The severe threat will shift east to the Midlands around mid-morning. By late morning and early afternoon, storms will be quickly moving toward the coast.
