ST. LOUIS—Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Detectives (SLMPD) ask that you look at this video of these suspects, believed to be involved in two armed carjackings.

Note the suspect in all black is wearing a unique backpack. Each suspect is thin, between 5’6” to 5’8”, believed to be 18 or 19 years old and wore facemasks at the time of the carjacking.

Two of the suspects were armed, one with a pistol and the other with a small rifle equipped with an extended magazine and stock. The third suspect, appears to be dressed in red hoodie, remained in the gray Hyundai Santa Fe that was stolen from Cahokia Heights, IL.

At gunpoint, the suspects took the maroon Dodge Charger from its 52-year-old driver on April 6 at 8:15 a.m., in the 1300 block of Tower Grove Avenue. They took his glasses too.

The same Dodge Charger was involved in another carjacking less than two hours later.

A 61-year-old man said just as he parked his Chrysler 300 at the pump of the BP Gas Station in the 200 block of E. Grand Avenue, the Dodge Charger pulled up and an armed male jumped out of the car. The male demanded the keys to the Chrysler 300. The man dropped his keys and fled unharmed; the armed male left in the Chrysler 300.

A police pursuit of the vehicle began around I-70 and Tucker Boulevard. The Chrysler crashed into a traffic signal box and the Charger drove away. Two male suspects excited the Chrysler and fled from the scene. One of them was apprehended in the 900 block of Lebanon Drive. He was evaluated at a hospital and taken into custody after being deemed fit for confinement.
