WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcster Railers are in a dog fight with Reading for the final playoff spot in the North Division, but this is nothing new for either team, it's been this way for a while, essentially the Railers have been in playoff mode for more than a month. "It's a two horse race going into the playoffs here," said Forward, Kolby Johnson, "I think our mentallity is we've been playing playoff hockey, preparing for playoff hockey for the the last month or so. I feel like we've been in this mindset all year an I think it's going to help us if we get in here."
"Yeah definitely going down the stretch here like I said every shift counts, every play matters, every hit every back check." Said Foward, Alec Cicero, "So you just have to give it your all because you never know when it's going to be the last."
The Railers final two home games of the regular season are this Saturday at 6:05 and Sunday at 3:05 at the DCU Center. It's fan appreciation weekend, so there will be give aways, raffles and jersey auctions, Saturday fans are encouraged to wear orange, as the players will be wearing there orange jersey's.
