Cuomo: 59.7% of adults have received at least 1 vaccine dose

Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Saturday that 59.7 percent of New York adults have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The governor said 168,958 doses have been administered in the past 24 hours, and more than 16.5 million doses have been administered across the state to date.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said Saturday that the city's seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate is at 2.28%.

Cuomo said 1.29% of COVID-19 tests reported statewide Friday were positive.

Today's update on the numbers:

Total COVID hospitalizations are at 2,178.

Of the 248,572 tests reported yesterday, 3,195 were positive (1.29% of total).

The statewide number of total COVID-19 hospitalizations is at 2,178, according to Cuomo.
