Brooklyn Councilman Jumaane Williams may be mounting a primary challenge to Governor Cuomo in 2018.

He has filed paperwork to form a new campaign committee as he considers running for governor.

The Board of Elections filing shows Williams created the group "Jumaane 4 New York" on Wednesday.

He's also considered a possible successor to City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, who is term-limited this year.
