BROOKLYN, N.Y. - A teenage driver could face charges after a chain reaction car crash that killed a bicyclist in Brooklyn over the weekend.

But that person is not currently in police custody.

Surveillance video shows the moment when a silver Dodge Charger ran a red light at Coney Island Avenue near Avenue L in Midwood on Sunday.

Police say the 18-year-old driver slammed into a Honda SUV.

Both cars spun out of control, but we stopped the video before you see the SUV hit cyclist Jose Alzorriz.

Alzorriz died at the hospital.

He's the 19th cyclist to die while biking on city streets this year.

The driver of the SUV and another pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams is now calling on the city to conduct a redesign and safety study on Coney Island Avenue.
