NEW YORK - The NYPD has arrested the man suspected of running down a man and his young son in Harlem, and slashing the father. 

Thomas Green was taken into custody Wednesday.

He is now charged with attempted murder and assault.

Police say Green was behind the wheel of the car seen on surveillance video back on November 6 on West 112th Street.

He jumped the curb and drove into the victims.

Investigators say Green got out of the car and slashed the father's face and arm.

They also believe the attack was part of a gang dispute.
