Detective Raymond Abear was a member of the special victims squad in Queens.

He spent 18 and a half years with the department.

Auxillary Police Captain Mohamed Rahaman was assigned to the 115th precinct in Queens.

He spent 30 years on the force.

Over 17 percent of the NYPD force was out sick Monday.

That number is down slightly from the weekend.

837 uniformed members and 90 civilian members have since returned to work after testing positive for COVID-19.
