Two police officers in the Bronx are recovering from minor injuries after a bullet was fired through the windshield of their car.

The officers were sitting in the NYPD vehicle around midnight last night near Alexander Avenue and East 138th Street in the Mott Haven section. That's when the shot was fired.

Broken glass from the shattered windshield cut their faces, but both officers are expected to be ok.

As of now, no arrests have been made.
