Police say 43 people were hurt in 32 shooting incidents across the city during a violent stretch from Friday through Saturday.

That’s a dramatic increase as compared to the same weekend in 2019, when four shooting incidents occurred in the same amount of time.

Meanwhile, police say two more people were killed overnight in New York City.

Citizen App video shows the scene near Parkside and Ocean Avenues in Flatbush, Brooklyn, where police say a 47-year-old man was shot twice in the head around 2 A.M. Sunday morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Hours earlier in the Bronx, at approximately 8 P.M. Saturday night, a 27-year-old was in the passenger seat of a car parked along Beach Avenue near Soundview Avenue when he was shot in the chest, according to police.

The man has been identified as Anthony Martin. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.

There have been no arrests in either incident.

President Trump reacted to the violent weekend in the city via Twitter by retweeting a post saying 49 people have been shot in the city since Thursday, adding, "Law and Order. If the mayor can't do it, we will!"

This is the latest jab from Trump to Mayor Bill de Blasio after the two exchanged criticisms days earlier.
