NEW YORK - Dozens of protesters took to the streets in Queens protesting for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Protesters gathered at Roosevelt Avenue near Broadway in Jackson Heights calling for the end of ICE and their practices.

Demonstrators held up signs and medical gowns speaking out after a recent whistleblower complaint alleged that an alarming number of women at the Irwin County Detention Center in Georgia, have received hysterectomies for unexplained reasons.

That complaint also alleged that the facility has not followed proper precautions to protect detainees from COVID-19.
