The Broadway show “Chicken and Biscuits” has canceled its next three performances beginning Tuesday night due to positive COVID-19 cases within the company.

“Through our regular testing process and protocols, breakthrough COVID-19 cases have been detected within the company of Chicken & Biscuits,” producers of the Broadway comedy said in a statement released via Twitter. “As the health and safety of our cast, crew, and audiences are most paramount, we will be cancelling the next three performances starting tonight, Tuesday, November 9 through Thursday, November 11.”

The producers of the show said all tickets will be refunded.

“Chicken and Biscuits” isn’t the only show on the Great White Way to cancel performances due to COVID.

In late September, “Aladdin" on Broadway was canceled due to COVID-19 breakthrough cases among the company, forcing the production to halt performances for 12 days.

Broadway theaters recently extended their COVID-19 vaccination and mask requirements through the end of February.
