New York Times correspondent Sheri Fink joined Errol to talk about her recent report, where she spent 12 hours shadowing health care workers at an independent hospital, the Brooklyn Hospital Center, amid the coronavirus pandemic and a shortage of medical supplies. And as hospitals across the city face a surge in patients, she discusses what our health care system should expect, drawing on her experience covering a New Orleans hospital post-Hurricane Katrina. She also talks about her recently released documentary, “Pandemic: How to Prevent an Outbreak” and lessons that can be applied to the current pandemic.
