CEDAR PARK, Texas – A hit-and-run crash was caught on camera in Cedar Park after an SUV hit a loaded school bus Monday morning.
Just after 8 a.m. the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that an SUV side-swiped a special needs school bus on the 1800 block of Hatch Road. A student was being loaded into the bus at the time of the crash.
The bus is equipped with a video camera, which will be reviewed by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Traffic Unit. The sheriff’s office tweeted that the driver “will be caught.”
The driver fled the scene after the crash before police arrived.
No one was injured in the crash. Police advised drivers to use caution in the area.
