Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has set up a visitor tent for the families of its patients. Families can now speak to their loved ones through a window. The Bronx center closed to visitors about a month ago. But they say the new set-up helps patients still feel connected to their loved ones.

"I believe it's a life changer, especially during the times that we're going through, the crisis that we're dealing with. It just lets the residents know that their families haven't forgotten about them," said Concierge Anthony Webster.

Visits are limited to 15 minutes and are held Mondays and Wednesdays. Reservations must be made in advance.
