BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Police have arrested a teen who is accused of throwing eggs at Orthodox Jewish people and into a synagogue in Brooklyn.

18-year-old Mohib Hoque, 18, is facing multiple hate crime charges in two incidents which took place in Borough Park Saturday night.

Investigators say an egg was thrown towards a woman along 38th Street, but she was not hit.

Just minutes later, police say an egg was thrown at the wall of Keh-hal Bnei Torah Sanz Synagogue on Dahill Road.

In a third incident the next day, a woman was walking along 38th street when investigators say she was approached from behind by a group of teen boys, and hit in the back with an egg.

Hoque has not been charged in that incident.
