LOCKPORT, N.Y. — U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer spoke with students at Starpoint High School after their AP exams went missing while in transit.

He says he's impressed with how the students and district were coping with the ordeal.

106 U.S. history and English literature exams were lost when UPS was delivering them to get graded.

Schumer said he is receiving regular updates, as UPS continues to search for the exams.

The school district has expressed their disappointment with the loss.

The College Board has offered the impacted students refunds for the costs of the exams or the chance to retake them.

If the box is found, they will still score the original exam and students can earn credit.
