WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Four hospitals in Western New York's rural communities will recieve $8 million in funding over the next five years.

Congressman Chris Collins says the funds were secured through the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018.

"We want to make sure our folks have a hospital to go to within a reasonable distance and do everything we can to keep them from closing," Collins said.

The funds will benefit the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, Noyes Memorial Hospital in Danville, United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia and the Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw.
