WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Many of you probably started celebrating as the clock hit midnight Friday night, but one local Williamsville veteran got an early start.

An Amberleigh senior resident reached a milestone as he turned 100-years-old just before the New Year with happy birthdays, a couple rounds of cake, and, of course, some champagne.

Glen, a World War II veteran, celebrated with friends and family at the American Legion Post.

Members of the American Legion are wishing Glen a very happy birthday and of course a happy New Year.
