ANGOLA, N.Y. — A popular haunted house is back for spooky season delivering all the thrills and chills that visitors expect.

After taking a break last year due to COVID-19, the creators of EverHaunt Haunted House in Angola are ready to show you what nightmares are made of in 2021.

Voted as one of the best haunted houses in  New York State, EverHaunt features multiple haunted houses with an amazing attention to detail that transports you into your own haunted tale!  There’s the Escape from Frankenstein virtual reality experience, the Pitch-Black Coffin Ride, a haunted photo booth and even an escape room based on a spooky story close to home.

"Our five minute escape game which is Escape from Holland Road is based off of Pigman Road out in Western New York so it’s very cool," said Kevin Donovan, founder of EverHaunt.

Donovan started the attraction eight years ago with a Halloween party to help out a friend with cancer. He says he's still in awe of the terrifying world he's created.

“The last year and eight months because of COVID and us not opening last year, it gave us the time to really make it what we always hoped it could be," said Donovan. "So now it’s like a total Halloween experience.”

And he’s made sure to keep caring while scaring working with places like Oishei Childrens Hospital and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center .

"This year we have three charities we’re working with and its something that I feel gives us a heart behind all the scary things.”

They've got lots of spooky stuff going on this week including celebrity guests and some family friendly events. You can find all the details here.
