For the second time in as many weeks, a corrections officer has been charged with official misconduct for having a personal relationship with an inmate.

Matthew A. Antolini, 38, of Arkwright worked as a correction officer at the Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility in Brocton. He was arrested Monday after an investigation discovered Antolini had an unlawful relationship with an inmate there, according to the New York State Police in Fredonia.

Antolini was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Arkwright Court later this month.

On December 27, James Beam Jr., 41, was charged with rape and misconduct due to his alleged relationship with an inmate at the same facility.
