The Chief Defenders Association of New York held their lobby day and they are looking at Governor Cuomo's criminal justice reform proposals. Cuomo is calling for $50 million to help counties provide counsel and support caseload relief, among other things. Joining us to explain why this amount of funding is so crucial are Tina Luongo, President-elect of the the Chief Defenders Association, and Andy Kossover, Ulster County's Chief Public Defender.
