The state pension fund is going greener. The comptroller announced that the fund will double its investment in a low emissions index fund, going from $2 billion to $4 billion. This comes after Governor Cuomo pushed for a full divestment from fossil fuels, but also as local governments are looking for any kind of savings on things like retirement contributions.
