Onondaga County will roll out its new vaccine registration program for seniors on Wednesday morning.

County Executive Ryan McMahon said he plans to hold a briefing at 10:30 a.m. with more details on how it'll work.

McMahon also confirmed that the county has received 1,000 new doses, which will be given out at a clinic on Friday.

He said you'll be able to sign up for those spots through a registration link that'll be given out on Thursday.

As for the numbers, Onondaga County is reporting its fewest number of daily new cases since around Halloween.

There are 108 new cases, for a total of 2,690 active cases.

There are 158 people in the hospital, which is also the lowest that number's been in a while.

Four more people in the county did die from the virus.
