Community policing up for discussion this weekend on In Focus. Chemung County Executive Chris Moss tells JoDee Kenney to share his perspective on applying community policing strategies on a countywide level. Moss served four terms as sheriff, in a nearly three-decade long career in law enforcement. He talked about the challenges deputies have in connecting with people across a wide patrol area but believes partnerships with community leaders can foster good relations with law enforcement. Moss also said the School Resource Officer program provides K-12 students with a positive connection with law enforcement.
