If there's anyone in Albany who knows what it is like to get an angry phone call from a governor, it's Republican Sen. Jim Tedisco.

Tedisco, then the minority leader of the state Assembly, received an angry, profanity-laced phone call from then-Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who infamously described himself as a "steam roller."

Tedisco, in an interview on Capital Tonight, talked about the experience and the phone call between Assemblyman Ron Kim and Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Tedisco says there is a limit to the strategy of a governor calling a member of the Legislature to berate them, though it can still be successful.
