The campaign for New York's Hudson Valley congressional district could turn into a costly one.

Republican Marc Molinaro's campaign on Tuesday reported raising more than $350,000 in the 10 days since announcing his bid for the seat currently held by Democratic Rep. Antonio Delgado.

"What an incredibly exciting outpouring of support from family, friends, and supporters young and old," said Molinaro campaign spokesman Connor Smith. "Marc is running for Congress to make a difference and get things done - and the encouragement and resources he has received from New Yorkers around our state for his candidacy is revelatory of the way his vision for New York is resonating with supporters. Marc will continue traveling the Hudson Valley talking to voters about the issues we face and solutions we need."

Currently the 19th Congressional District, the boundaries of the district are expect to shift once the coming round of redistricting is completed in early 2022.

On Monday, Delgado's campaign reported having $5 million in cash on hand. The seat has long been considered a top swing district in New York, and one both parties have competitively vied for in the last decade.
