CONCORD, N.C. -- Chaos at Concord Mills mall Saturday evening was due to false reports of a shooting.

Dozens of emergency and police vehicles responded to the scene. Witnesses describe shoppers yelling and running for the exits.

Concord police say two people got into a fight at the food court, but no weapons were used.

Later, someone started yelling about gunfire and that quickly spread through the mall. Police say no one was injured, and no weapons were found anywhere on the property.

They're reviewing surveillance video to identify those responsible.
