CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Isabella Santos Foundation is giving $5 million to establish a rare and solid tumor program at Levine Children's Hospital.

Isabella Santos was a little girl who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2007

After her battle with cancer ended in 2012, her mother started the foundation and hopes the gift will help provide clinical trials and advanced treatments that were not available in the past.

The donation is one of the single largest in the history of Levine Children's Hospital.
