CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. -- Food truck operators are suing the town of Carolina Beach.

The owners of three food trucks say an ordinance passed by the town council in April makes it very difficult for out-of-town trucks to operate there.

The ordinance requires any truck that wants to operate in the town to also have a brick-and-mortar presence there.

Truck owners say this is keeping dozens of food trucks out of the town.

They claim this is in violation of state's constitution.
