WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A pedestrian was struck in the parking lot of Wallburg Elementary School.

It happened around 7:45 Thursday morning.

School system officials say that a parent driver struck a teacher as she and her child were crossing the parking lot. The child was not hurt.
