CHARLOTTE, N.C. – While many spent Christmas morning unwrapping presents with their families, a few good Samaritans in Charlotte were out taking care of the community’s needy.

A handful of groups took to North Tryon Street, near the homeless shelter, to pass out meals, toiletries, blankets, coats, and gloves.

Without help from these individuals, many of Charlotte’s most vulnerable likely would not have had a Christmas at all.
