CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. – Meet the newest four-legged member of the Craven County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit: a rescue pit-bull named Nibbles.

Nibbles was rescued from a dog-fighting ring in Ontario.

Now, Nibbles gets a second chance at life fighting crime.

“He’s constantly wanting to work. His ambition is to do whatever I want him to do, his praise, you know, that’s just what he looks for,” Craven County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit Deputy McCaw said.

Nibbles is being trained in narcotics detection, article searches, and tracking.
