RALEIGH, N.C. — Vice President Mike Pence is expected to visit Raleigh on Thursday where is planning to speak at a number of events.

First, he is scheduled to visit Gateway Women’s Care and participate in a round-table discussion. Later, he is expected to speak at Christ Baptist Church about the Trump administration’s support of the pro-life movement.

Afterward, he is scheduled to accept the endorsement of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association where he will also give a speech before returning to Washington, D.C.

The vice president's visit comes one day after President Donald Trump visited Wilmington to declare it a World War II "Heritage City.'' Trump is also expected to be in Winston-Salem next week.
