CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect people around the world, nonprofits, like Suit Up Charlotte, are finding new ways to continue to do vital work while keeping their employees safe.

The organization, which focuses on dressing men for success as they re-enter the business world, has switched to a new contactless delivery system during COVID-19.

And with help from community partners picking up handpicked outfits, as well as mailing out deliveries, those in charge feel like they are now able to help the community safely once more.

“This is about giving and about love, but we want to be safe as well," says Executive Director Cerita Lindo.  "And we certainly want the men to feel good and look good and run things, like their families and businesses in our community, and working and, you know we want to help do that.”

Suit Up Charlotte has also started to mail outfits to clients as well. If you would like to donate, at this time the organization is asking for all donations to be dry cleaned first to be coronavirus safe.
