RALEIGH, N.C. – Starting Monday, educators and school personnel are eligible to sign up for COVID-19 vaccinations.


What You Need To Know

  • Teachers and school staff can start signing up for COVID-19 vaccines starting Monday, February 22.

  • Vaccinations could begin as early as Wednesday.

  • This is part of Phase 3 for the state's vaccination distribution plan.

 

This comes after Governor Roy Cooper announced last week that vaccine eligibility was being expanded.

Governor Cooper has said for weeks that it is his goal to safely return students to in-person learning as soon as possible.

Vaccinations are expected to begin as early Wednesday, February 24, and distribution will be handled by the counties.
