In the coming weeks, state lawmakers will be debating the next state budget, and despite COVID-19, North Carolina will have an extra $5 billion to play with. Will they spend, save or return it to the taxpayers?  

On this week’s episode of Tying It Together With Tim Boyum, Tim talks with North Carolina Representative Jason Saine (R-Lincoln) to get some incredible insight into what we should expect. Saine, lead budget writer in the House, also tells some hilarious stories from behind the scenes about past budget negotiations.
