Several businesses across the country and right here in Ohio say their No. 1 struggle is finding employees.

Steve Stivers, the president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, sat down with Mike Kallmeyer to explain how immigration reform would help the labor shortage.

"We would like to see immigrants that have the right skills, degrees, and certifications to fill the jobs that are open today," he said.

Stivers explained immigration is not the only solution, but it is certainly a part of one. When describing immigration for skilled labor purposes, Stivers said it is not just immigration from other countries, it is immigration from other states as well. Stivers explained the three ways he believes the immigration system could be improved.
