CLEVELAND, Ohio — Over 200 Northeast Ohio home improvement experts are at the Huntington Convention Center getting ready for the 39th annual NARI Home Improvement Show.

  • It’s the first time the show has been in downtown Cleveland
  • The show features businesses specializing in home design, flooring, roofing, cabinets, counter tops and more
  • Tickets can be purchased online or on-site

“It started out as a small show in Cleveland and we've grown into this,” said Chris Kamis, NARI Greater Cleveland president.

Over the next four days, this year's NARI Home Improvement Show is expected to draw 15,000 to 20,000 people who are looking to connect with some of northern Ohio's most respected and talented remodeling experts.

“We've gotten a reputation in town that if you're looking to hire a professional, you come to our show,” said Kathy Masterson, NARI Greater Cleveland executive director.

It’s a reputation NARI has built with a show that they work on almost year-round.

They start by ensuring each exhibitor is someone consumers can count on and should hire.

“We vet everybody extremely well,” said Kamis. “And we were really going to the background checks, make sure they're a member of the BBB… we check their insurance, we check records to make sure that they are the best of the best.”

Businesses specializing in home design, flooring, roofing, cabinets, counter tops and more, have been busy ensuring their booths are built, decorated, and ready for the show.

It’s the first time the show has been in downtown Cleveland — a change that both NARI and the city are excited about.

“The city's just got a lot, it's more lively, and I think there's just a lot of energy down here, so bringing our show down here and having our remodelers down here will be good for the city, and it also helps us attract the east side clients, which we haven't really been able to do, as well, when we were at our old location,” said Masterson.

Tickets for the show can be purchased on line or on-site.
