DALLAS — The Dallas Zoo needs your help in naming its newest addition.

The Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo is now home to three Arapawa goat kids.

Daisy the goat gave birth to one male and one female kid on April 3. Another goat named Susan gave birth to a female kid on April 4.

The zoo said in keeping with the Texas-native-plant theme for the goats’ names, it is going to call Daisy’s male kid Oleander, or Ollie for short, and her female is named Aster.

The public can vote for their favorite name for the third kid: Bluebonnet, Clover, or Fern.

Visit the Dallas Zoo’s website to cast your vote.

Arapawa goats are one of the most critically endangered goat breeds in the world, with just an estimated 300 individuals remaining in their native New Zealand.

Just look at this sweet face! 😍 This is Daisy's kid, Aster, but her sister still needs a name. We can't decide between...
