People lined the streets of Esopus for the annual Winter Wonderland Parade Sunday night. The event was rescheduled because it got snowed out on Saturday. As Candace Dunkley shares, people had a great time getting in the holiday spirit.

ESOPUS, N.Y. -- Sunday marked the 13th annual Winter Wonderland Parade in the Town of Esopus.

The event gives families a chance to get into the holiday spirit while kids wave at some of their favorite Christmas characters.

The evening was capped off with a tree lighting followed by a meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The parade was also for a good cause. In honor of the event area businesses started collecting hats and mittens for local schools and charities in October.

The event was sponsored by the Town of Esopus Recreation Commission.
