LOS ANGELES (CNS) — The quirky Disney+ Marvel series "WandaVision" scored a leading five nominations Monday for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, while "Emily in Paris," "The Boys" and "RuPaul's Drag Race" each collected four.

"WandaVision," "The Boys" and "Emily in Paris" were all nominated for best show, along with "Bridgerton" and "Cobra Kai."

Nominated for best movie were "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm," "Judas and the Black Messiah," "Promising Young Woman," "Soul" and "To All the Boys: Always and Forever."

Oscar favorite Chadwick Boseman earned a posthumous nomination for best performance in a movie for his work in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom." Also nominated in the category were Carey Mulligan for "Promising Young Woman," Daniel Kaluuya for "Judas and the Black Messiah," Sacha Baron Cohen for "The Trial of the Chicago 7" and Zendaya for "Malcolm & Marie."

For best performance in a show, nominations went to Anya Taylor-Joy for "The Queen's Gambit," Elizabeth Olsen for "WandaVision," Elliot Page for "The Umbrella Academy," Emma Corrin for "The Crown" and Michaela Coel for "I May Destroy You."

The MTV awards will be presented over two nights, with winners of scripted categories being announced during a May 16 event at the Hollywood Palladium. Winners in unscripted categories will be announced the following night.
