LOS ANGELES (CNS) — Disney's animated film "Encanto" is the top-grossing film for the second straight weekend, adding another $12.7 million to its total, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

"Encanto" was helped by the lack of major new releases this weekend. The next two films were also in the same spots as last weekend, with "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" grossing $10.3 million in its third weekend, and "House of Gucci" taking in $6.7 million in its second weekend, Comscore reported.

"Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers," which opened Wednesday, took in $4.1 million of its $9 million total Friday through Sunday for fourth place.

"Eternals" was fifth, grossing $3.9 million in its fifth weekend in theaters in the United States and Canada.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" ($2.6 million), "Dune" ($1.81 million), "Clifford the Big Red Dog" ($1.8 million), "King Richard" ($1.2 million) and "Venom: Let There be Carnage" ($1 million).
